Parabens are preservatives that are used in many cosmetics products. Preservatives are very important; they keep your products safe and fresh. If not properly preserved, many cosmetic products are ideal environments for bacteria and mould to grow (yuck!). Parabens may sound weird, but they are a natural ingredient found in the fruits and vegetables you eat every day.
